NEVER shall a young man,
Thrown into despair
By those great honey-colored
Ramparts at your ear,
Love you for yourself alone
And not your yellow hair

“किंतु मैं बालों को रंगवा सकती हूँ और भूरे, काले तथा गाजरी रंग के बाल रंग सकती हूँ ताकि निराश युवक केवल मेरे लिए ही मुझसे प्यार करें और मेरे पीले बालों के कारण नहीं।”
